Michelle Guevin, PT, MHSc, MTC
Michelle started her physical therapy career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 1989 with an AA and an AS. She continued her education at Florida A&M University and earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in the Manatee area for the past 14 years. She has also completed the Manual Therapy Course at the Institute of Physical Therapy in 1996. While continuing her education Michelle opened her own practice in July 1999 called Bay Area Physical Therapy & Wellness. At the time she was establishing her practice she found a few moments to acquire her Master's Degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2006. At present she practices and manages both locations as the Clinical Administrator. Currently, Michelle is persuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Montana. |

Camille Phillips, MSPT
Camille graduated from Rutgers University in 2001 with a major in Biology. She moved to Bradenton in 2002 and received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2004. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in the Sarasota/Manatee area for years. She has worked in the Transitional Care Unit and the Stroke Center of Excellence at Sarasota Memorial. Bay Area Physical Therapy is proud and excited to have Camille on our team in our Bradenton clinic. Camille was voted Employee of Excellence for the Year 2008 for her dedication and commitment to all our patients. |

Kimberly Lovelace, OTR/L, CHT
Kim Lovelace is an Occupational Therapist who provides therapy to clients who have hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries or conditions. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She chose a specialty internship in Hand Therapy and has been working in this area since her graduation in 1988. She has extended her education and earned her Certification in Hand Therapy. She has been certified in The Blankenship Method for Functional Capacity Evaluations. If you have had hand surgery due to an injury or are having trouble opening jars, buttoning your shirt, cooking, cleaning, bathing or using your computer at work Kim is the one to see. |

Larry Henry, OTR/L, ATP
Larry Henry brings 29 years of experience in neurological and orthopedic occupational therapy. He specializes in restoring functional abilities and independence in people whose lives have been disrupted by illness, injury, or development problems. Additionally, Larry is certified to analyze the needs of individuals with disabilities, assist in the selection of the appropriate device or equipment, and training them on how to properly use the specific device or equipment. A Manatee County resident since 1982, Larry graudated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Leslie A Weatherhead PT, OCS - Clinical Director
Leslie is a 1989 graduate of the Bowling Green State University/Medical College of Ohio Physical Therapy Program. She has worked in private practice physical therapy clinics previously in Ohio since graduation and in Florida since 2006. She is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has also been working in women’s health physical therapy since 1996. Leslie has served as a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute’s Visceral Manipulation program. Leslie is excited to be part of the fantastic team caring for you at Bay Area Physical Therapy & Wellness in Palmetto. Leslie is the 2009 Employee of Excellence here at Bay Area Physical Therapy for her commitment and dedication to our patients. Leslie is currently persuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Montana. |

Shannon Mustico, MSPT
Shannon is a 2005 graduate from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor in Health Science and a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has a strong orthopedic background witha special interest in shoulders. Shannon and her husband, who is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, recently relocated to the Sunshine State from Westchester, PA. On her down time you can find her with her husband at Fort Desoto State Park with their dog Fiona. She is really enjoying all Florida has to offer, including the beaches! We are thrilled to add Shannon to our expanding family here at Bay Area Physical Therapy & Wellness in Palmetto.

Liliana Rengifo, PTA, LMT
Lili is licensed as a Physical Therapist Assisstant who started her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist she graduated from the Humanities Center School for Massage in 2003. She continued her education at St. Petersburg College earning her A.S. in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Liliana has lived and worked in the Manatee area for years. She came to work here at Bay Area Physical Therapy in May of 2005. Lili is fluent in both Spanish and English. She is very thoughtful and considerate towards all of her patients. She has also been trained in the Graston Technique and has recently earned her certification as a Fitness Trainer. Lili was also voted employee of Excellence for the year 2007 for her commitment and dedication to all of our patients. |

Jeff Powell, PTA
Jeff is licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from St. Petersburg College Physical Therapy Program in 2008. He came to work at Bay Area Physical Therapy in October of 2008. He is an avid fan of all sports which is how he became interested in physical therapy. Jeff wants to get you up and moving around safely with a kind and helping hand. |
