Michelle Guevin, PT, MHSc, MTC
Michelle started her Physical Therapy career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from St. Petersburg College in 1989 with an AA and an AS. She continued her education at Florida A&M University and earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in the Manatee area for the past 14 years. She has also completed the Manual Therapy Course at the Institute of Physical Therapy in 1996. While continuing her education Michelle opened her own practice in July 1999 called Bay Area Physical Therapy & Wellness. At the time she was establishing her practice she found a few moments to acquire her Master's Degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2006. At present she practices and manages both locations as the Clinical Administrator. |

Donald Teahan, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT, OCS, MTC, MSS
Don was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida and graduated from St Stephen's Episcopal High School in 1981. He began his career in orthopedic rehabilitation as an athletic trainer after graduating in 1987 from the United States Sports Academy with a Masters in Sports Medicine. He started as a student athletic trainer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1987, and has worked for the last 18 years with athletes of all ages ranging from the Little League to the Big Leagues. In 1992, he graduated from Florida A&M with a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. He has recently earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. Don also volunteered his services to the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 1999. He has recently returned to this area after having resided in Jacksonville for the last fourteen years, and has now brought his expertise to Bay Area Physical Therapy. |

Beth Denton, MSPT
Beth grew up in Ohio and attended Miami University, graduating with a degree in Zoology. She was then accepted to the Physical Therapy program at the University of Miami, Florida and graduated in 2000 with a Master's degree. She moved to Bradenton and has been practicing Physical Therapy here since 2001. She has been with Bay Area Physical Therapy for the past 5 years. She has also continued her education for lymphedema management, Graston Therapy, Kinesiotaping techniques, and for cancer related therapy treatments. |

Camille Phillips, MSPT
Camille graduated from Rutgers University in 2001 with a major in Biology. She moved to Bradenton in 2002 and received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2004. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in the Sarasota/Manatee area for the past 3 years. She has worked in the Transitional Care Unit and the Stroke Center of Excellence at Sarasota Memorial. Bay Area Physical Therapy is proud and excited to have Camille on our team. |

Kimberly Lovelace, OTR/L, CHT
Kim Lovelace is an Occupational Therapist who provides therapy to clients who have hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries or conditions. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She chose a specialty internship in Hand Therapy and has been working in this area since her graduation in 1988. She has extended her education and earned her Certification in Hand Therapy. If you are having trouble opening jars, buttoning your shirt, cooking, cleaning, bathing or using your computer at work Kim is the one to see. |

Margaret Evans, OTR/L
Margaret graduated in 1990 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Degree in Occupational Therapy. She moved to Florida in 1992 and has been treating out patient acute and sub-acute populations. Margaret joined Bay Area Physical Therapy’s team in February of 2007 and comes to us with 17 yrs experience. She is a kind and compassionate therapist who genuinely cares for all her patients. We are thrilled to have Margaret on our team and know our current and future patients will be as well. |

Leslie A Weatherhead PT, OCS
Leslie is a 1989 graduate of the Bowling Green State University/Medical College of Ohio Physical Therapy Program. She has worked in private practice physical therapy clinics previously in Ohio since graduation and in Florida since 2006. She is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has also been working in women’s health physical therapy since 1996. Leslie has served as a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute’s Visceral Manipulation program. Leslie is excited to be part of the fantastic team caring for you at Bay Area Physical Therapy & Wellness in Palmetto. |

Liliana Rengifo, PTA, LMT
Liliana is licensed as a Physical Therapist Assisstant who started her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist she graduated from the Humanities Center School for Massage in 2003. She continued her education at St. Petersburg College earning her A.S. in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Liliana has lived and worked in the Manatee area for the last 4 years. She came to work here at Bay Area Physical Therapy in May of 2005. Liliana is fluent in both Spanish and English. Liliana is very thoughtful and considerate towards all of her patients. She has also been trained in the Graston Technique and has recently earned her certification as a Fitness Trainer. |

Heather Castro LMT
Heather began her Massage therapy career in October 2005 she attended classes at MTI and graduated in December of 2006. Heather has lived and worked in the Manatee area for the last 10 years. She came to work at Bay Area Physical Therapy in November of 2007. Heather is a caring and gentle massage therapist who is interested in helping people feel better physically and mentally. She also has a desire to continue her education and become a Physical Therapist. Bay Area Physical Therapy is thirlled to welcome Heather to our staff. |
